And First Air & Canadian North fly over my house, twice a day, everyday, except Saturday and Sunday. And everyday, Twice a day, except Saturday and Sunday, it sounds like they are going to land in my kitchen. Tallinn howls, the dishes rattle, the plane zooms by. I don't mind however, because it's the glorious, sweet, sweet sound of fresh mail, making it's way home to me.

welcome to airport boulevard..lol we live close to the airport too, i can the planes landing and taking off. very cool since i know exactly if Frank's going to come home or not if he is away!
That's a great shot. Even though we live close to an airport I have never heard one.
mmmmm mail!!
In Kugluktuk we got mail everyday. Here only on Mon/Wed/Fri. Not as much fun at all!
Twice a day?
Pansy.
We live next to the airport in Iqaluit, and by next to, I mean on top of.
Twice an hour, think Elwood's apartment in The Blues Brothers. It comes so often you don't even notice.
KOTN
Sure only twice a day, but I bet you money we live closer to the runway then you do. NAH NAH NAH NA NA :P
However I am sure it would be worse to live next to the busier Iqaluit airport.
Jen....
For real, unless you are living in the Municipal Garage in Dorset, I do live closer to the airport than you :)
KOTN, but that's where I get you, I said I live closer to the runway, not the airport. Like planes landing directly on my house, I live right at the end of the run way. Like sitting in the flight tower being buzzed by Tom Cruise in Top Gun lol.
