I am still fighting for a good sleep, it hasn't happened yet, I am blaming Nathan.
I have changed my header just for Tina, it's the view of town from this morning at about 7:30 am. You can see how much less light we have already and how much more snow. In this picture you can see a basic view of town or at least the part people refer to as town, there are other named parts. I find this amusing as it's so small you could walk across it, but here is a defined "down town" so to speak.
You can see our Northern store as well in this header (Tina can you see it?). It's under construction right now and not in the best shape for pictures. I am currently looking for a an older archived image of it for Tina, as she is making a post card of all the Northern Stores or Northmarts in the North. So all northern bloggers drop her a line...or a sized JPG.
Let's see, where was I?

Woo hoo I see it! I feel so special! 2 headers just for me! That Northern Store looks quite big compared to ours. Although, right now Rob just went flying over to the store because from where we are it looks like the store is on fire. We heard the fire alarm go off (it sounds like an air horn) and the flames are behind a big govt building, which is where the Northern is. Needless to say I'm FREAKING right now as the guys just left the store no more than 30 minutes ago. I'll keep ya posted.
Update: The local kids decided it would be fun to set fire to the garbage shed next to the store. It's what I would call a baby barn, here they call them warehouses. This is the 4th one burnt in the last month. I guess all the kids involved so far are under 12. I can't imagine my kid being out at midnight setting fires!
Oh Tina, that's horrible! I hope everything works out and there is no damage! Here the kids like to break windows! Does that happen there as well?
hi jen,
just moved into the house last night. that means: i can start thinking about about coming to visit!
Well the garbage shed is totally gone. The flames went really high because it was full of garbage and cardboard. Yes, they also break windows around here also. Over the summer the daycare boarded up their windows to protect them. The problem here is the kids have nothing to do but get into trouble.
Hi Jen. I am getting caught up on your blog - your mom sent me your address. Loved your comments about the imaptient southerners; so true. Bravo for adapting to the weather; it is difficult for most who grew up in soutern climes. Your photographs are wonderful. Sandra
Jen it's MONDAY! Did your sleep finally come and you've slept all weekend? You have my spoiled by daily posts and now you're GONE! My days are soo empty and lonely! (Can ya tell Rob's been working a lot) :) BTW, how do you change your profile pic? I can't seem to get mine to change.
