Sick in Nunavut

(Sung to the song "It's oh so Quiet" by Bjork)

It's oh so Dry
It's oh so Hot
You're all crusty
And you wonder what you've caught

You Blow your Nose
Zap sting
Wipe away what Flows
Zap Sting
You have a cold
Zing Owe
You don't want to move too much, you wanna die
There's no moisture in the air, you can't even cry
There is no place for cough syrup to buy

Your sick in Nunavut
Your stuck inside
The snow sits over a foot
A mountain of Kleenex by your side

Your nose is red
Zap Sting
Your stuck in bed
Zap Sting
Can't seem to drain
Zing Owe
Your stuffed up head

It's oh so Dry
It's oh so Hot
You're all crusty
And you wonder what you've caught

Wow- you have the ability to be diseased and creative at the same time. What talent!

That was great Jen - I have a feeling that is also going to be my theme song soon... as I feel a cold coming on ... again. I hope my 'nyquil' care package gets here soon.

Thanks Aida, I will try! :)

Kara, I fight the evils of disease with the decongestant powers of poetry.

Kennie, I was on the phone with the Pharmacy of my mom ordering more 'nyquil', when I read your comment. I don't think it will reach me in time however.

Poor you!
I looked up how to say "I am sick" in Inuktitut...I think it is "anniaqtunga," in case you want to add some Inuktitut to your music.
Hope you feel better.
