I must be in heaven because our local Northern store produce lady (YO Heather!) ordered the store some Candy Apples. I-ALMOST-DIED! I bought 5 of them. No, I did not eat them all at once. Now she is telling stories of a possible caramel apple delivery.... this is going to be a yummy October!

WOO HOO FOR THE NORTHERN!
I missed out on all that - I didn't realise I was pregnant until I was in my 17 weeks. By then I had licked the nausea, the anger,.... When he was born, I came up against a whole different set of problems.
That's another story.
Oh yummmm! I dunno which I like more, the caramel apples or the candy ones. Either way, I miss them!
Here in NL they don't really do halloween. They have some decorations in the shops but there is no trick or treating or anything.
I like the tee shirt. I saw another version at the aboriginal head start workshop in Vancouver last week and it said "old native". I noticed a lot of the "older" people there buying them!
Halloween
I have 30 (yes, THIRTY) pumpkins to carve, making up for all the years of $40 pumpkins at the Northern (sorry Rob and Tina, not your fault). The first one says in black "pumpkins for Obama". I am so sick of all the political whoferahh and if he does win someone will..............you know what hime AND the Canadian candidates are all asses.
If you make them yourself, you can inject them with gummy bears and candy corn...

I love the new October Jen of Nunavut banner. Way to go with the black and orange!
Yummy..! I have decided to get apples candy for Halloween party.
Are you getting any pay for such an obvious Old Navy endorsement. ha ah ha.
mmm that looks great!!! I should look for some in Whitehorse next week.
I saw them here, too! I was immediately reminded of this post, haha. I bought one...kinda thinking I want it right now, even though I just woke up (although it is 1pm).
When I moved to Rankin Inlet, someone told me if you see something you really like in the Northern, buy as many as you can because you'll probably never see it again. So far that's so true!
