One benefit of being down south is getting lavished with my mothers party throwing talents. She went over the top for her first Granddaughter today, we had about 30 guests at the shower. she made many delectable snacks such as gourmet carrot cake cupcakes, with baby blue birds made of icing on the top. I figure this child won't need a single thing for the entire first year of her life.
Now I almost feel prepared for this little one coming along, we even have the first name, Ezri (ez-Ree), but are still missing a middle name. Nathan thinks he is picking, but perhaps I can give him some ideas. Anyone have any suggestions on a normal middle name that would go well with Ezri?

Well Kara can still make a great middle name!
Brenton? All bias aside...
Aurora?
Jak? (Berry in Gwich'in)
Frost?
Only 1/2 serious with those...just ones that I've thought of in passing for my own future kids.
Ezri Anne Eichenberg! but you already know that lol
Ezri Dax, like the character in Deep Space 9. I KNEW I had heard the name before! :)
Seriously, I like Ezri Dawn, Ezri Rae, and of course, Ezri Tina! :)
Tina,
Hahah yeah that's where we heard it too, but if Dax was her middle name it would be just a little too Star Trek. lol
A one syllable name (like Anne, Kate, Jane, Dawn, Rae, Sun, Moon, Star, etc.,) rolls easier off the tongue and is a more pleasing combo with her last (2 syllable) and first name (3 syllable).
Or a mutiple syllable name (i.e. Josephine, Katherine, Fitzgerald, Montgomery, Evelyn you get the drift ) is more dramatic but probably will play hell with filling out forms, enouncing, etc.,
Also the initials are a consideration. She is E something E. So the middle name may describe/determine the moniker/nickname she will be given or choose for herself.
i.e. Katherine would make it EKE!!
have the numbers mixed up for the syllables for the first and last names, too early, too dark!
Baby showers are the BEST. The first time at least.... :) You look wonderful.
Justine? Ruby?
hmmmmm... Ezri Victoria? Ezri Renee? ummmmm Ezri Jacquline?? Ezri Marie??
or we can go Dutch with Ezri Marike? (Marie-ka) Had to throw that one in for the land I live in lol.
you look great in that photo!
Ezri is a great name. As Star Trek fans, Steve and I definitely approve.
yeah, always the case with babyshowers, the kid dont need a thing in the first year. though in our case, a good relative dropped almost 5 garbage bags of clothes for Ava that she still has some now..it might be another 6 months before we REALLY need to get her clothes.
i like Ezri Anne.
I love suggesting names...
Ezri Carmen, Ezri Madeline, Ezri Althea, Ezri Guinevere
although, I have to actually put in my vote for Ezri Aurora - it rolls off the tongue nicely, and maybe there will be northern lights when she is born...
Have fun name choosing and I wish you a safe and simple birth.
Jennith
I vote for Ezri Kate. I agree it should be short.
How about Ezri North?
In honour of the location of her first home.
I love the name! I'm totally with Indigo -- I think you need to go with either one syllable or three syllables to make her whole name flow.
That narrows things down, doesn't it? LOL
Thanks everyone for your suggestions!
I'm informed that my dad really likes Ezri Aurora, and I like Amy H's Ezri North. But I worry that they are still too different for Nathan... I hope he is reading some of these up north!

Ezri Rena, or Ezri Raine.
Great to see you have so much fun! And yes every new mom should have an overwhelming show of support and gifts. Now you get to figure out how to ship it all up north : )
Ezri Catherine Eichenberg

Anne
Janelle
Adelaide
Olivia
I couldn't resist throwing my two cents in for this, even if you may have already found a middle name.
