Oh my god you can actually see her! I have to say this is the first ultrasound I've ever seen where the fetus is visible from the rest of the grey-white blur. Exciting!!
Congratulatios. I hadn't been to your site in some time due to lack of internet access, etc. and found that you're pregnant. That's great. Have fun on your IPA. Might see you in Iqaluit some time.
Well, although I can't say that shopping for girls is more fun, girls do also look cute in overalls and construction boots. And Kara, Jen told me the baby's name was Tina Kara. It rolls off the tongue better. :)
awww...congrats! i agree shopping for girls are way easier than boys but then again you might hv all "ainsley's" stuff! i do wish they make more girls stuff that aren't pink. i hv a hard time finding non-pink stuff unless i want to pay an insane amount of money for it. so i sew them..lol
Ok, so it took me moving thousands of miles away from you, and you having your first baby, to get me to go from your blog stalker to actual participant, lol!
That's an awesome first photo! We're so happy for you guys!
I moved to Nunavut 3 years ago with my husband and Alaskan Malamute. Here we started raising our first daughter Ezri and shortly before we left, became pregnant with our second.
As every journey has an end, we found ourselves back south again, dreaming of returning north one day. Please read about my adventures and continue to feel free to send me e-mails.

Don't worry Kara, Jen will tell you that I'm right when she comes home. :)
And where's the Trudie in all this???
Only joking - there's a loooong story behind my name and one of these days I'll tell you all.
PLEASE don't name her after me!
